Founded in the 80's by Rome's own Keith "KEET" Townsend, Townsend Tree Service​ has been a well known staple of Rome's service industry. If you want it done correctly, call Townsends.

 

In 2011 Keith retired from the tree and landscape business and began a stint in Electrical Inspecting. His son, Steve Townsend worked with his father in the business since he was a kid, and was co-owner in 2001 and 2002. After 11 years of working in other industries, Steve made the decision to relocate his family back to his hometown, and back to his roots. Steve, along with his wife Alexa, gave the family business the spark it needed by officially opening the doors once again in 2014.

 

With two small children at home, Benjamin and Layla, the Townsends hope to continue this three decade long tradition for decades to come.
